It has been a pleasure for LÓPEZ LANDA to participate in the integral refurbishment of the new Unicef offices in Bilbao. This is our third collaboration with this wonderful NGO, which never ceases in its efforts and determination to continue helping children all over the world.
For two months we have been rehabilitating Unicef’s new regional work centre, after finding an office floor that had not been touched for many years. Already from the initial phase of demolition and clearing of rubble, the work was bringing us surprises and forced us to make decisions that were drawing the current reality to the phase of finished work and fulfilled objective.
We can only feel satisfied with the work shared with Unicef and with the people, both from the organisation itself and from the project management, with whom we have participated in this project. A beautiful project guided by what the living work itself was asking for and that wanted to leave installations, concrete pillars and choose shades that give the offices an industrial, sober and perfectly functional appearance for their daily operations.
We do not want to forget the collaboration of IKEA in the project that we have built, as it has provided furniture and equipment for the finished work, giving the space the necessary functionality for the perfect working operations of Unicef, and also being part of the final success.
We would like to wish our client Unicef every success in the journey they are starting in their new management centre, and thank them as an active part of this society for the work they face every day with great enthusiasm, improving the lives of many people in the world.
