López Landa, a company specialising in the construction and implementation of corporate headquarters, has carried out the comprehensive management of the work necessary to make the new station a reality in a period of 12 weeks.
The new Cadena Ser Radio Bilbao facilities occupy the entire sixth floor of the Moyua Building at 24, Ercilla Street in Bilbao. In the 700 square metres of this new Cadena SER headquarters, white prevails, with stone vertebrae on the ceiling and in the form of columns that run through all the rooms.
The lighting, both natural and artificial, also stands out, with enormous energy savings thanks to the use of the latest generation of LED devices.
“We have sought open working spaces. The meeting rooms are integrated as a nod to nature, with wooden beams that simulate trees and green details, plus a different and much warmer light, to give a sense of normality to those who meet there”.
As for the unique furniture, it is worth mentioning the sofas with acoustic walls that gather and envelop the conversation in the waiting and relaxation areas.
With this move, the oldest radio station in the town returns to its origins, as it was founded in 1933 very close by, in Plaza Moyúa. The new facilities house all the brands grouped under the Prisa Radio brand.
