New trends in office space for 2022

With so many changes in the business landscape due to two years of pandemic, the minds of employers and employees are also changing. Therefore, the priority of adapting the office to today’s needs has been taken for granted and, little by little, we are moving towards a workspace with the characteristics we will see below:

  • Division of workspaces in an open environment.

It improves the working environment and does not hinder the interaction, and the view, of the office. Whether with glass, low panels and ephemeral work rooms, occupational health is improved and teamwork is enhanced.

  • Flexible furniture

In larger spaces, the fact that the furniture can be moved and fitted throughout the office is an added value. In addition, the need arises to carry out versatile tasks that require the materials available to be adapted to the moment.

  • Lighting

We have already talked in other posts about how important it is to have natural light from outside; it improves mood and interpersonal relationships. We should also have as efficient a light supply as possible.

  • Separate spaces for a coffee-break

It’s not all about working in an office. Allowing your employees to pause for a few minutes, interact and socialise improves the working environment and work efficiency. By having a space for a coffee or lunch, it allows people to talk to each other and create bonds that make them a team.
